We offer specialist training for different levels from beginners through to international level competitors:

Rugby

A proud tradition of highly successful rugby teams, with New Zealand and national representatives. Many students play touch in the off-season.

Mountain Biking

the home of mountain biking in New Zealand with superb tracks in the Redwoods, through forests, hills, around lakes, past geothermal features, the scenery and level of experience is mind blowing.The school is ideally located by the Crankworx venue.Students can enjoy the many tracks on their own, as part of a school group, compete nationally and individual tuition is available.*

Kayaking

Kayaking

Canoe Slalom and Whitewater kayaking is available on the world renowned Kaituna River. The top International kayakers come from all over the world to experience this kayaking paradise and it is the home in the summer of past and present world champions in both sports.The 16 lakes of the region also offer great flat water paddling experience. You can enjoy a social paddle or learn from some of the world’s best.*

The school has many teams training in Lake Rotorua with specialised equipment to enhance the training. We have students producing gold medallist performances and some have received scholarships to American universities.

Volleyball

Volleyball

10 times National Champions. Many of the students play socially as well as competing in at a national level. Members of the top teams represent New Zealand and compete in many parts of the world. Some of the school coaches are also NZ age group coaches.

Hockey

nationally ranked with NZ representatives in age group competition. One of the coaches is a past NZ age group coach.

Soccer

nationally ranked with NZ representatives in age group competition. Past students have received scholarships to American universities.

Music

individual tuition in instruments and singing is available. Highest mark in NZ in Trinity Guildhall examination.Winners of NZ competitions and scholarships.

We offer sports such as Volleyball, Hockey, Soccer, Basketball, individual sports such as mountain biking, kayaking, rifle shooting, tennis, jazz and concert bands, choir, environmental club, Chess, Stage Challenge, Wearable Arts etc.
